Just a headsup - done that, it's compressed and ready, gonna upload it to YT sometime later or tomorrow, then add a link here.

I run a BiP Necro mostly to fuel Mesmers since they always run out of energy, and it also lets me run a regular Monk.
3 Illusion Mesmers, 2 N/Me Domination (replace if you have Mercs), 1 N/Rt BiP Resto, 2 Monks

I just loaded a N/Rt healer, watched 2 runs to see how they did and it worked fine.

Link to the video of the farming: click!
The builds are the same as used in the OP, only used the common heroes instead of specialised mercenaries.
EoE may be not used at all, but it speeds up the process a bit and i wasn't really AFK anyways, so i popped it every now and then. If not being completely AFK, you might also take Winds and Summon Ice Imp. By Urals Hammer! may help in critical moments, which sometimes occur; but as said, nothing is really necessary and it may be done completely AFK.
The run took 20 minutes and 35 seconds. The only thing the player actually has to do is be present by the end to collect worthy drops and open the chest.
Heroes sometimes die, it's nothing to worry about. Your toon may sometimes die, too, so it's not advised to farm Glint's AFK for survivor.
It doesn't matter if heroes have runes or modded weapons - look at my Norgu, for example - but it's crucial to have non-magical weapons on most of them, especially the three frontline mesmers. You will avoid getting into Chaos Storm this way.
One odd thing, though, is that despite heroes are set to aggressive, they do not rush out to attack Destroyers of Compassion at the beginning of the second wave, until they come up and start attacking the party.
If the thread's author has nothing against it, a mod could paste the link to this post and/or the video to the opening post, please.
edit:
Hero skill templates, in 1-8 order:
OQhlAoBsQMghC9CgAuCgCknt8lBcxA
OQZEAaICPocCTvpnDcgGkBID
OQhkAoB8AGK0LAC4KAKQe2yXGwFD
OAWiIwh8cCMdTPcKXTaO5GmA
OgVDI8gsKnw0b65AHoBZAyA
OghjwMhsIPXzyp3kZixkmTuhJA
OgNDwcb/O1CaxMRLWPureESC
The build is really flexible, feel free to experiment.
Runes, insignias:
High health and +1 runes to the used attributes are helpful, but not necessary. Norgu had only +3 illusion magic in headpiece, relic of an old build. Vekk was runed up for Water Magic, Zhed for Fire Magic. Razah and Sousuke had no runes whatsoever.
Weapons:
Defensive spear + shield set is probably the best, then bows, but any non-caster weapon is suggested, at least for the three first mesmers, those that you flag separately. That's why Gwen wields a scythe (she probably wouldn't die with a defensive set) - enemy mesmers don't cast Chaos Storm then. On the other hand, Razah and Sousuke had their starting caster equipment, and it worked.

So what I'm getting from the above is that the AI will only cast Chaos Storm on casters so by giving them spear + shield, the spell will not be cast?

Should work that way, yes. Chaos Storm is regarded as an anti-caster spell by the AI and the AI uses weapon to differentiate between casters and non-casters. For example, the AI will never use BiP on anyone wielding a martial weapon (Swords, Bows etc) nor will they ever use Splinter Weapon on anyone with a Wand or a Staff, no matter what professions those who are wielding the weapons are.

I only have 2 ele heroes (souske is level 11 XD) so can anyone see if one of the eles can be substituted by another primary prof? Like can I run UA instead of bonder? (i already tried this, too many failures lol)

Almost right - BiP is used on casters, regardless of weapon (check the wiki). Only on melee professions if using a caster weapon.

You don't need Ele heroes or even monks. I do this with 3 KSS Mesmers, 3 Necros and one Rit.
Mesmer 1 : OQBCAswzPIPb64a7gb60jnC
Mesmer 2 : OQBCAcw0PQempzIEXDC4KAPF
Mesmer 3 : OQBCAswzPIPb64aygbqgjnC
Necro/Rt : OAhkUwG4hEqTM7LUVtDDTp5k7iB
Necro/Rt : OAhiYwh8UzqqZMp5kbYW9GnA
Necro/Mo: OANDUshvS7ZVVKgfBzE1DBE1NA
Ritualist/R: OAKjYNiMJPXzyp3cZS5ccMToDA
The Rit has EoE so you don't need to bring anything yourself.
1) Place Mesmers + rest same way as the other builds
2) Go AFK.
....
3) Collect your cloth and other drops.

Are runes needed in this build?
EDIT: Works fine without runes. THANK YOU so much

has there been a slight stealth nerf for this? I am getting destroyers that are spawning and not moving. Might just be a bug tho.

Hi there
So far ive tried both drkn's and manager's build and cant seem to get either of them to work. My heroes seem to be having trouble with the destroyers of compassion (dervish). is there some specific hero setting im missing? ie do i set them to fight or guard. Currently ther equipped with random shields/spears and even bows that dont offer any real bonuses, but ther mostly runed up with afew radiance insignias and attunement/vitae runes. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hmmm ... I put them all on aggressive.
I've done it without any special equipment, just the heroes default items, and properly equipped(40/40 sets, Sup Runes, HP insignias+runes) and worked both ways :s
EDIT: I've reread the OP and seen drkn's video again. The only thing i do different is: after flagging the 3 Mesmers on the same place as them, i also flag the rest of the heroes a bit back , like a few feet away from the head of the baby dragon.

I've slightly modified manager's build. keep everything the same, but change the Rt's build to this:
OAKjYNhsIPXzyp3kZKNncDToDA
It provides more healing imo. It's just a bit slower (avg time 22-23min.). The only time i've failed is when for some reason my heroes bunched up and got wiped at wave 5. Normally it shouldn't happen because everyone is aggressive except for xandra who is on guard. To prevent this I usually just check back a bit early at 16-18min. when they're on wave 5. if anyone's dead, I use res sig and sunspear sig and the heroes does the rest and i finish in another 4 min.

So after numerous failed attempts, I finally completed a run. It was incredibly smooth with zero deaths. I actually sat and watched the run and threw in some EoE from time to time. Anyways, here's the team that worked for me:
Me/Rt Inept x2
Me/E E-surge
N/Rt Discord x3
Rt/Me SoS
Two of my mesmers have minor illusion runes and a survivor rune on their chest. I didn't time the run, so I couldn't tell you how long it took. Anyways, just wanted to share my experience and thank everyone who has contributed to this thread.

Thank you!!!
Hi there, to the maker of this build, thank you Greenough!
It is simply ingenuous and one of the reasons I am still playing GW after so many years.
Thanks again! It worked a treat!
